Everything you need to know to use TrackGap effectively.
What is TrackGap?
TrackGap is a stock research platform that automatically detects and scores pre-market gap runners — stocks that gap up significantly (typically +20% or more) before the US market opens at 9:30 AM ET.
Our algorithm analyzes multiple factors including float size, short interest, catalysts, volume, and gap magnitude to assign a score from 0 to 100. Higher scores indicate higher probability of continued momentum.
Getting Started
Create a free account at trackgap.com to access the dashboard with today's top gap runners.
Check the dashboard each morning between 4:00-9:30 AM ET (10:00-15:30 CET) to see the latest pre-market scans.
Click on any ticker to view detailed analysis: TradingView chart, key metrics, catalysts, and prediction history.
Upgrade to Basic or Pro for real-time Telegram alerts, full API access, and advanced features.
Dashboard
The dashboard is your daily command center. It shows all stocks detected in the pre-market scan, sorted by score from highest to lowest.
Each row shows: Ticker, Company Name, Score (0-100), Tier (HOT/WARM/WATCH), Pre-market Gap %, Current Price, Float Size, and Short Interest.
💡 Tip: The daily scan runs at 4:00 AM ET. Scores and enrichment data update at 4:15-4:30 AM ET. Check back frequently as pre-market data evolves.
Stock Detail Page
Click any ticker to open the full stock detail page. This page includes:
📊 Interactive TradingView chart with candlesticks, moving averages, RSI and volume
📈 Technical Analysis widget showing buy/sell/neutral signals
🏢 Company Profile with description, sector and industry
📋 Key metrics: Market Cap, Float, Short Interest, Hit Rate
🔮 Full prediction history with D+3 and D+5 returns
🗓 Upcoming catalysts (earnings, PDUFA, FDA, 8-K)
🔗 External links to Yahoo Finance, TradingView, Finviz, SEC EDGAR

The Catalyst Calendar shows upcoming events that could trigger significant price movements:
Track Record
The Track Record page shows the verified performance of all past predictions. Each prediction is automatically verified after 3 and 5 trading days.
Results are classified as: 🔥 Major Hit (+100%), ✅ Minor Hit (+30%), 👍 Small Hit (+10%), ❌ Miss, 📉 Negative (-10%).
